Art and cultural city, Aix-en-Provence has a rich architectural legacy. Walking from the Saint-Jean-de-Malte Church to the Saint-Sauveur Cathedral passing by the Clock Tower, Aix is an invitation for time travel, and you will taste it strolling by the city.
For the 2012 edition,
the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence offers a new production of
Le Nozze di Figaro, masterpiece of Mozart, as well as a world creation,
Written on Skin, composed by two British creators that are nowadays among the more distinguished. The Festival d'Aix-en-Provence continues its collaboration with the
London Symphony Orchestra and will offer two prestigious concerts of which one will feature Renée Fleming.
